SourceForge.net is the world's largest Open Source development website, with the largest repository of Open Source code and applications available on the Internet. SourceForge.net provides free services to Open Source developers, including project hosting, version control, bug and issue tracking, project management, backups and archives, and communication and collaboration resources. SHORT DESCRIPTION: Searches webpage for NNTP links and connects to each of them to find working ones. You can also search for a specific newsgroup. Very easy to use, pretty interface, lots of options, and produces an HTML webpage with the results. LONG DESCRIPTION: This program will download a website, or use a pre-existing one, and search it for NNTP (newsgroups) links. It will connect to each of them and tell you which ones work and which ones do not. You also have the option of searching for a specific newsgroup and only returning servers which have that group. Very easy to use, pretty interface, has lots of options (including saving), and it produces an HTML webpage with the results. Made in Visual Basic 6, tested on Windows 95/98, requires WinSock.
